  • Ported Waffle to native Java with JNA, added waffle-jna.jar.
  • Added a Negotiate (NTLM and Kerberos) Tomcat authenticator, waffle.apache.NegotiateAuthenticator in waffle-jna.jar.
  • Added a Negotiate (NTLM and Kerberos) and Basic Servlet security filter, waffle.servlet.NegotiateSecurityFilter in waffle-jna.jar. Works with any servlet container, including Tomcat, Jetty and Websphere.

You rock, dblock. What an improvement! No login.jsp. No modification to program jsp. Just drop in the dll's, copy context.xml, and add the security parameters to web.xml. Couldn't be simpler and works like a hose! Note: Windows users probably need to add... Waffle.Windows.AuthProvider.dll commons-logging-1.1.1.jar to hook to the domain and allow reporting. Waffle is excellent. Best thing I've found for JEE based Integrated Windows Authentication. It truly is "zero config".

WAFFLE is great. It's small and simple, and easily integrates with our embedded Jetty server. It makes it much easier than deploying and configuring IIS to forward requests simply for the benefits of authentication. Thank you to all who've contributed.
