Redirecting to the requested page after authentication

I have introduced tomcat FORM authentication for my intranet application. Now I need to redirect users to their requested page after the authentication. This is important because users used share URLs but with this Authentication it is not possible unless they have a logged session already. Is there anyway to achieve this functionality ? I cannot rely on the request.getHeader("referer") because it is not giving me NULL value.

With NTLM (vs. FORM) there're no redirects. Are you saying that you're now using mixed authentication, letting users choose between doing SSO and FORM? If so, you just need to make sure the action parameter point to the user's page (j_negotiate_check in any url will tell Waffle-mixed to do SSO).

<form method="POST" name="loginform" action="userpage.jsp?j_negotiate_check">
	<input type="submit" value="Login w/ Current Windows Credentials" />
</form>
