Can I embed Waffle into an AGPL / Commercial product?

Hello

I am writing to inquire if the Waffle license (EPL) allows it to be embedded into AGPL Open Source, and into proprietary commercial licensed
products, and if so under which obligations.

I am currently developing the UltraESB which requires NTLM/SPNEGO authentication, and I am evaluating using Waffle since it seems like a great
library with good code and test coverage!

thanks

<official answer>I am not a lawyer. I don't know. This post might have been written by a robot :) </>

I am sure EPL is compatible with commercial license products as long as you reproduce the license along with other 3rd party licenses 'as is'. I don't know about AGPL, but there was a discussion on this on the Tomcat list - http://www.techienuggets.com/Comments?tx=119156 and it seems that I did give explicit permission, so it should be enough.

You should talk to a lawyer to get any definite answer if the license is unclear.

Thank you for the the prompt answer! I will check the legal aspect, but your consent here as the original developer of this library is very much appreciated!

Look forward to using Waffle!
